Ginille Beauty Aesthetics Caters to Unique Needs of Brown and Black Skin

A registered aesthetic nurse practitioner weighs in on skin care trends leading 2024.

Registered Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and founder of Ginille Beauty Aesthetics Ginille Brown has honed her practice with a distinct focus on individuals with brown and black skin.

In 2024, the mantra, “new year, new you” has never been more relevant. Facial Injectables For Weight Loss has sparked a trend in weight loss, with more facial injections and regenerative aesthetics predicted to replace volume in the face through biostimulatory injectables which help stimulate collagen and elastin.

An expert in the unique aesthetic needs for brown and black skin, Brown sees more people of color getting cosmetic treatments as cosmetic injectable companies are beginning to market to more inclusive and diverse groups. As a result, she also sees a trend in inclusive-friendly devices launching that treat skin of color, which have historically been limited.

Brown cautions against the “spot treatment” when it comes to aesthetic treatment, and instead champions myriad ways to approach concerns and goals by considering the whole face over a sole area.
